Juan Manuel Lopera
From a very young age Juan Manuel discovered that the passion for doing things and the desire to learn are great strengths for any human being. As a result, some technological innovations emerged for his school: a voting system for the election of student government members and yearbook in digital format. Two years later, what began as a hobby became a large company which transforms teaching and learning through technology, digital resources, and teacher training. In 2009, he joined his founding partner Alejandro Sepúlveda, a childhood friend who shares his ideals of transforming educational environments. Today, they have a consolidated purpose-driven team with a culture of loving what is done. His companies are dedicated to delivering technology solutions that allow our children and youth to be at the forefront of global education. Juan Manuel Lopera is the founder of Aulas Amigas and Tomi Digital, where he is also the executive director.
